Once again the club had a competition to celebrate one of our great former Captains, Andrew Warnock. A 9 hole comp played on a Saturday, and the club was rammed. A very competitive competition saw our Competition Secretary and part time BBQ chef, Clifford Livingstone, win by 0.5 from Craig Ritchie. He is seen here being presented by Trish Warnock and his son Andrew Warnock. Andrew gave a wonderful speech quoting a Greek philosopher, “you only die when nobody says your name” and today was not one of those days. The day finished with usual drink or two but the dancing and young Nell was the star of the show

Euan Glen not only won the Scratch prize but also had a nearest the pin prize at the 5th

One our wee clubs most important days is our Charity Day. A fuller post will happen tomorrow, but just as a filler, the winner was our Club Secretary Mike McVean.
