The Club has been redecorated in the club colours, as you can see from the stunning repainted ceiling. A lot of hard work by a number of people. A more detailed article is in the next newsletter that will be out shortly.

Mark MacWhinnie helped by his family organised a team match against the Ship Inn in aid of the above charity. A huge success and their Facebook page sums up everything, and shows the gratitude of all their efforts.
The club held a Race Night to support the Winter League Team, helping to provide funds for dedicated clothing and to provide meals for our home matches. Saturday 26th saw the Final of our League Cup competition between Paul Marshall and Matty Craigie. The competition requires a Sunday qualification followed by the top 16 playing off in a stroke play format over a number of weeks. The 2024 Musselburgh Amateur competition took place at Royal Musselburgh Golf course on 21st September 2024. The historic competition is restricted to members of the three Musselburgh course, those that live in Musselburgh or work in Musselburgh. Sunday 11th August was finals day in our Club Championship after two rounds of qualifying the previous two Sundays. On Sunday 19th May we welcomed Junior Golf Sixes teams from Gifford GC, Craigielaw GC, Longniddry GC and West Links Juniors from North Berwick to play in a Golf Sixes event at Musselburgh Old Course. Sunday 12th May the club had their Qualifier for the R&A competition that allows one pair to play in Regional Finals held at Dundas Park in June. A bit of decadence from the older members of the Club. Our trip to Turkey ended in a wee match between the football team supporters of Hearts v Hibs. Just to say the team in maroon came out positive in that game . All other games were called a draw.
