Mission/Equality Policy

Our Mission Statement

As a Club, our aim is to facilitate access to golf for players of all standards and create a welcoming and friendly Clubhouse atmosphere for both Members and non-Members that does not discriminate on the grounds of gender, age, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or disability. Our Members needs are prioritised first and foremost, our Sponsors enjoy the benefits of being associated with our historic Club, guests, visitors, and the public are encouraged and welcome to use our Clubhouse facilities.
We aim to provide a range of membership categories that satisfies all golfers’ and make these visible to the public to become the Golf Club to which golfers aspire to belong.
As a Club we will enable Members and non-Members to use club facilities for their events and provide a varied programme of social events.
As a Club we will build and maintain Member engagement, use all forms of social media to keep customers informed, canvass Members and customers to shape our plans, act on appropriate feedback and post regular bulletins to keep members informed about club progress.

As a Club, in accordance with the MOCGC Constitution, we will investigate any reports of alleged breaches of our Equality Policy and take appropriate disciplinary action based on the outcome of the investigation. Any complaint or grievance will be dealt with via established appropriate policy and procedures.
